Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive tools.

Our commitment

Cornerstone Fence Company is working to make this site usable for people of all abilities. Our goal is to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and we keep improving the site toward it.

What we have done

  • Clear structure. Pages use headings in order, a main content area, and a “Skip to main content” link so keyboard users can jump past the menu.
  • Keyboard friendly. The menus, the form, the photo viewer and the interactive fence diagram can be used with a keyboard, and you can see where you are as you move through a page.
  • Readable text and color. Text and buttons have strong contrast against their backgrounds, and information is never shown by color alone.
  • Labeled forms. Every form field has a visible label, and error messages say what needs fixing.
  • Photos and graphics. Photos have text descriptions. The fence diagram on our redwood page includes the same information as a written list next to it.
  • Works at different sizes. The site adjusts to phones, tablets and desktop screens, and to larger text or zoom in your browser.
  • Motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the page’s animations are turned off.
  • Phone option. You never have to use the website to reach us. You can call us to request an estimate.

Known limits

We test our own pages, but no site is perfect. We’re aware that some photo descriptions are short, and that parts of the site, such as fonts, load from other companies and are outside our control. We are working to improve these. If something doesn’t work for you, we want to hear about it.
